about me

Hi all! My name is Tatevic - wife, mama of 3 beautiful kiddos, and lactation educator (soon to be IBCLC).

After having my first daughter, and a not-so-great experience in the hospital in regards to breastfeeding, I was discharged with pain, swelling, a syringe, and a vague idea of how to feed my baby. Luckily I found an amazing lactation consultant that helped me through the process. Even through lots of pain and tears, I ended up breastfeeding for almost a year.

Fast forward to my second daughter, I was a much more confident mama who had experience–even then–self-doubt kicked in and I contacted a lactation consultant (Kelly) just to make sure all was well (it was). Thankfully, Kelly planted a seed in me that maybe I should look into becoming a lactation consultant. She saw my love for breastfeeding and given my background knew I would love it. But at the time I had just gotten my master’s degree and had other plans.

After having baby #3 and helping countless friends through their breastfeeding journey, I finally let go of what “I thought” my life should look like and embraced my passion for breastfeeding and helping other moms.

So here I am ready to help you through your journey!

  • Dealing with a clogged duct is never enjoyable but dealing with multiple at once was awful. I seriously don’t know what I would have done without Tatevic at Love and Latch Co guiding me! She called and texted me everyday with advice and words of encouragement. She is so knowledgeable and was able to assist me in more ways than a Lactation Consultant at the hospital could! The clogs have now been removed and she is working with me one on one to develop a better pumping schedule to prevent this from happening again! I highly recommend her to aid in your breastfeeding/ pumping journey!

  • Tatevic was the second lactation specialist I worked with but I wish I found her sooner! She helped me with optimal breastfeeding positions, established a proper nutrition plan for me, worked with me to figure out a pumping schedule that worked for me and baby so I could build my freezer stash but also have enough supply for daily feeds and has given me SO MUCH support and encouragement along the way! I’m now 8 months into exclusively breastfeeding and supply is strong and consistent, I’m pumping multiple times throughout the day and I’m feeling better than ever before!
